Earlier this year, DJ and I decided that we couldn’t brave the DC winters anymore. For me, it wasn’t as much for the cold as it was the general lack of sunlight from the middle of October through March. What can I say? I crave Vitamin D.
Long story short, I’m addicted to Old Bay seasoning. There’s a restaurant in downtown DC that serves Old Bay wings that I get at least once a month. I just knew they couldn’t be that hard to make at home. Lucky for me, I was right!
After getting an amazing flight deal from AirfareWatchdog.com ($260 RT!) a few months ago, DJ and I finally headed off to our St. Petersburg, Russia trip on Tuesday. With a Paris layover behind us, we arrived in St. Petersburg with a good part of the afternoon left before us.
For our honeymoon, we headed to South Africa and had the time of our lives! We hit city spots as well as wine vineyards and saw the “Big 5” on safari. Here are a few photos from around Cape Town.
Budapest loves its thermal baths. Locals come to socialize, talk politics over a soggy game of chess, and meet women. Tourists come to appreciate the beautiful architecture, enjoy the relaxing baths, and see the locals done Speedos or teeny bikinis while going from pool to pool.
